Organic Rice Processing Community Enterprise

“Araya Farm” organic brown rice is produced by farmers who are dedicated to natural
agriculture. They pay effort to maintain ecological balance for over 30 years, which begin in
1898, and try to promote the concept of organic farming to the community. They formed a
group for production and processing within the community by establishing Organic Rice
Processing Community Enterprise of Selaphum district, Roi Et province that has been
examined and certified to various standards, such as:
• Certified organic farming by the Department of Rice
• Certified processing and packaging standards of organic farming
by the Department of Rice
• Certified participatory organic farming by pookpintokao project
• Awarded as 5-star OTOP product (one sub-district one product
program initiated by the government)
“Araya Farm” organic brown rice is produced by non-contaminated process with rice mill
especially for organic rice. All rice seeds are selected carefully. Therefore, they have various
types of nutritious organic rice. The community also uses other ingredients that are grown
in the area to develop convenient product to cater different needs of consumers, which
mainly focus on the food safety and health benefits.
